  1. Hello Robbie, Yes, following with great interest this Burma trip. The Road to Mandalay has been sung for the last 45 years in our family by my brother Francis. It is one of his party pieces and is rolled out on every family occasion! At my cousin Jane’s wedding to Albion half Burmese/Indian, Fran sang it there too much to Albion’s amusement – thank god.

I am still not 100% after that blasted flu jab which I had over 3 weeks ago. Just when I think I’ve recovered and start “doing” things, I seem to relapse and have to take to my bed again. Magide tells me that the same thing happened to him last year and that he was ill for a month. How are you feeling? Maybe the wondrous sights of Burma have distracted you from ailments. In some of the photos with the locals you look like Gulliver in Lilliput 😆😆😀. Albion was very short, nearly blind but a very successful entertainments lawyer. Cousin Jane always said that had he been a foot taller she wouldn’t have stood a chance. Haha.

Have you been following the debacle of Prince Andrew? Terrible. I feel so sorry for the queen.

Anyway, enough of my ramblings. Look after yourself and lots of love. Penny xxx

Anyway, keep going and enjoy every moment you can.
